Re: dish ant mounting



I used a 4 foot diameter dish on a Yeasu 5400 rotator for AO-13 mode S. The
dish has to be counterbalanced to prevent excessive wear on the elevation
rotator. If it is a solid dish and the area is greater than 5 square feet,
aim it straight up when not in use to minimize rotator wear in heavy winds.
