Re: Antenna Questions



I have tried both Circular and linear polarization on the birds. I think
theory has the linear antennas down 3 dB from the circulars and LHCP from
RHCP at 20 or more dB. I use linear antennas at my station with excellant
results. The circular ones I have used all burned up the switching relay,
sooner or later, so I always ended up with just one available polarity
anyway. With the linear antennas I now use I don't have the polarity fade
others using circular antennas seem to see...
