Applications and TEchnology Satellites. These were laucnhed by NASA (1-6)
two decades plus ago and have turned out to be amazingly long lived. 1, 3,
and 5 are still in limited use and 6 could be if a use could be found for
it. One of the "sad" proposals years ago was to put a Ham transponder on 6
(30 foot dish) and it would have cooked...
