that makes sense.
what about a middle ground?
AO-40 costs too much, is too large and heavy and takes too long to build 
and launch.
AO-27 has a pass that is too short to be really fun for the average ham.
Is there a middle ground ... a bird that could launch faster and less 
expensively and still have the fun and ease of use like AO-27 [but perhaps 
be a SSB/CW/PSK-31 type of sat]?
