Re: 50 Minutes Away?

Assuming that no commands have been accepted by the IHU-1 since contact was
lost on Wednesday, a COMMAND-ASSIST watchdog will be invoked at orbit=65,
MA=0 which is 2000 Dec 21 [Thu] 23:55 utc.

According to Nova and Instantrack both with latest keps, orbit=65 and MA=0
is due to happen sometime other than the one above mentioned.

If I'm mistaken, delete this message, please.

I have my fingers crossed.

Well guys, it is the 21st! Time as I write is about 23:05 UTC. According
to the information released by AMSAT on the watchdog timer, the first
opportunity for COMMAND-ASSIST should be in about 50 minutes. Let's hope
the control crew hears the bird and is able to recover it!

Good luck control crew. My fingers are crossed!
