Satellite Tracking Data Servers
- Subject: [amsat-bb] Satellite Tracking Data Servers

I updated the locations of currently active APRSdata Tiny-Web-Page servers
that feed live satellite tracking data to their local areas on 144.39.
See: http://web.usna.navy.mil/~bruninga/satinfo.html
Anyone within range of these servers will see on their APRS Handheld/
Mobile radio the Range and Azimuth to any satellites in view as well as
the up/downlink frequencies and doppler. In addition, a schedule of sats
expected in the next 80 minutes is also updated in the DX LIST.
This is an example of using these radios as "Tiny Web Page" viewers for
locally generated data bases of information for the traveling ham in the
area. Tracking data is "pushed". Other TWP's available on request are
the nearest CAMP, CLUB, NET, Radio Shack, ZIP-code (post office),Hospital,
DIGIpeater, BBS, Voice repeater, NWS site, NOAA Radio and anything else
the local SYSOP wants to put into his system.
