Betreff: [amsat-bb] what modem currently will do 38k4 ??

dr Tim,

check http://symek.com for high speed packet-radio.
They offer FSK-modems (G3RUH-types) from 9600 baud
up to 614 kbaud including all speeds as 19200,
38400, 76800, 153k, 307k etc.
The modems allow split speed operation as well,
e.g. the combination 9600 up and 38k downlink for
the satellites.
The size is 12x4 cm only and they are intended for
use with the TNC31S or TNC3S high speed packet-radio-
controller (which allows speeds up to 1600 kbaud!).
The TNC3 is widely used for satellites.
It can be equipped with two modems. So it becomes
possible to receive 9600 AND 38400 simultaneously
without switching the modems.
