well, as i am the trustee of that channel...

connect to the irc CHATNET
use the irc server   chatnet.org
ports 6667
group  CHATNET

once you are connected to the irc, join the channel #AMSAT

you will see K9 there. that is my pit bull dog that watches the channel and 
makes sure the topic is not changed, etc.
