There's an explanation in the Keplerian Elements tutorial at:

Many satellite tracking programs compute MA for you.
InstantTrack calls it "Phase".

With InstantTrack 1.50 you can jump any of the real-time
screens forward to a particular phase ("MA") value by
typing "T" for time, then at the prompt enter "phase" or
"phs" followed by the number you want. This is an easy
way to find out when a particular mode will be starting,
without doing any manual calculations.
