Re: HELP DSP-2232 setup for P3T

Ferdinand:

There are two errors in your otherwise very nice
web page (thank you very much).

You only use the qload n p command when you
are uploading a new and different modem from
a Hex file. You will do this with the file that is
now available from the TAPR and AMSAT ftp
sites. If you are using the internal modem, the
one stored in ROM, the all you need to do is
change the OPmode to DSP and modem
44 is loaded automatically. This modem emits
512 bytes every time it detects a sync vector
while not sending a data frame. The second
implied error is in the set up for P3T. If you
are using qload to upload the demod from the
hex file, this demod emits 514 bytes, including
the CRC bytes. You should then set P3T to
514 bytes and enable CRC checking.

Thank you for a wonderful job on the web site.
