Re: Microwave IF's for working AO-40


I haven't check DEMI's web page since AO-40 launch, so its possible he has
added 1269.  The new 1296 xvtr uses an 192 MHz LO [x6=1152 +144=1296].  I
believe the older model did have an opt. dual osc board.  BTW their 432
xvtr has dual osc for 432/435 or 436 your choice.  I would like a mod for
my 1296 xvtr vs buying a separate L-band P3D Tx-convertor, but Steve said
it would require re-aligning the xvtr.  Guess we'll see what Steve does!

BTW I was treated to a special tour of DEMI facitities this fall at
Microwave Update 2000.
