DOS programs for decoding P3D telemetry

We have placed on our http://www.amsat-france.org WEB site some DOS programs
developped to decode and display Phase 3D telemetry transmissions.
The first program, called pskdem.exe, developped by Ghislain F1HDD, converts
400 bds PSK sound files into p3d.tlm files containing the binary data
A second program, called tlmdec.exe uses OE1KIB/OE1VKW data to convert the
binary data into a fully decoded information (that is voltages,
temperatures, status, etc).
A french Help file is also included (english version is under construction).

How to use this stuff ?

1) Download the full package from our AMSAT-F site
2) Record BPSK 400 Bds signals (using Window Tape Recorder for exemple). Use
a USB receiver giving an audio center frequency located somewhere between
1200 and 1600 Hz
3) Measure carefully the audio center frequency (using Spectrogram or
CoolEdit for exemple)
4) Run pskdem.exe and type the mesured center audio frequency
5) Run tlmdec.exe to get the decoded data on the PC screen.

This software package is a freeware. Processing is limited to about 360000

AMSAT-F is also developping a Windows version which should be available in
the next few days.
This program, uses a FFT display and will allow an easy tuning of the center
The program is intended to convert audio PSK streams into binary files.

Any remarks to be sent to Ghislain F1HDD (ruygh@attglobal.net) and /or to
