Hi.

Mmm... sounds similar to a fault I had when I built the Fodtrack first.

I got the left/right and up/down relays the wrong way around, so you end up
with positive feedback instead of negative, and the rotor's either at one
end or the other. I can't remember if this was my fault or a fault in the
schematic. All I did was switch left and right relays and up and down relay
connections.

My recollection tells me I had an incorectly placed wire in there too. Are
you using the PCB or your own wiring? If the latter, double check your
wiring: theres lots of the circuit very similar, but not identical!

Are you saying that the _all_ the relays are on, or are you saying that it
is hard on in one direction in azimuth and hard on in one direction in
elevation?

If you're getting 0V at the 56k resistors (on the op amp side), but the
relay is on, your transistor's broken and gone short (very unlikely to be R
or D unless there's a wiring mistake or short).

FWIW, I've used my Fodtrack flawlessly for nearly a year now.
