RE: NASA-TV - Live video or still-shots?
The Ku-Band is out, except over the states, so they are relying on the
S-Band which is SSV (Sequential Scan Video.) They can get live video when
they can see Merrit Island (MILA) or Dryden Center (DFSC.)

Looking over my tape of the recent space walk, it looks like
NASA TV is sending down a series of still-shots rather than
live video.
Does anyone know the story on this?
