For those interested in happenings in the commercial space business,
take a look at today's issue (Vol. 11, No. 40, October 23, 2000)
of SPACE News, the weekly trade publication published in the
Washington, DC area. 

Half of page 3 features an article by Jeremy Singer, "U.S. Eyes
British Demonstration Satellite", with the sub-heading "Snap-1
Technology Could Benefit U.S. Military Missions".

This is a very complimentary piece on Surrey Satellite Technology,
their Snap-1 satellite (complete with drawings and SNAP-1's first
pictures). 

There are some intersting, if conflicting (controversial) quotes
from Martin Sweeting and various pentagon officials.
