All,
I've been busy adding to my sat prediction emailer.
You use it as follows.
Send an email to igor@highrf.com (note email address change)
Subject - Callsign
In the body include prediction requests on separate lines as follows (you
can include more that one, just make sure they are on separate lines)
predict <satname> <city> <timezone> <days>
<satname> - most of the active sats are available, examples will be shown
below (you can get a list by sending email as above, but just type "predict
list"
<city> - I have a database of 700 cities throughout the world. Most major
cities are included. If you need to include a space, use the "_"
(underscore) character for the space. Also if you get a reply with a
listing of cities that are similar, you'll have to include the city
complete, including the spaces and the commas. e.g. Boston,_MA
<timezone> - I don't have the entire world available. I have all the US
TZ's and UTC and Hawaii and Japan. e.g. EDT, CST, HST, JST, UTC
<days> - the number of days that you want a prediction listing to include.
Examples.
predict fo20 atlanta edt 7 - would give a prediction for the next 7 days for
fo20 in EDT times based upon an observer location of atlanta, GA
predict sts-92 mountain_park,_GA utc 10 - would give a prediction for the
next 10 days for sts-92 in UTC times based upon an observer location of
Mountain Park, GA
A complete request would be ....
mailto:igor@highrf.com
subject: NE1H
body:
predict sts-92 Buford EDT 2 - predict sts-92 for the next 2 days in EDT
times based upon my home location

As you can tell, you get times, pointing info, max elevation, visibility
info and orbit numbers.
I update the keps everyday automatically and while there is a shuttle up,
I'll be including that information.
If you have problems, please email me direction at mailto:ne1h@highrf.com I
can pretty much look at the logs and see what happened, and sometimes if I
see that requests are having trouble, I'll drop you a note with a fix.
Thanks, have fun and let me know if this is useful.
Alan
