In any area where there is uniformed security, you risk this kind of
confrontation.  The proper thing to have done would have gone to the
head of Security and explain to him what you're about to do and why.
Showing him a valid FCC license can't hurt things either.  It only
takes a few minutes and they'll probably appreciate your
straightforwardness.

You'll be amazed the doors you can open with just a little cooperation
on your part.
