[amsat-bb] FT847 and Bencher Paddle Problem

I have a 1/4" Stereo plug that I wired up to my Bencher paddles and plugged 
into the back of my 847.  Dit's work fine.  Dahs don't.  When I squeeze 
both paddles, both dits and dahs come out.  I checked and even tried 
reversing the ground and dah wires, but it didn't solve the issue.  Anybody 
got any ideas on what's causing this?
