Re: 400N P3D Rocket
At the risk of embarrasing myself, here's my calculated:
400 N = 400 kg(m/sec*sec)
(400 kg*m/(sec*sec)) / (115 kg) = accel rate of (400/115) m/(sec*sec)
So, at that rate, how long does it take to reach 100 km/hour = (1000/36) m/sec?
I threw the numbers around until the dimensions come out right:
( (1000/36) m/sec) / ( (400/115)*(m/sec*sec) ) = 7.99 seconds.
Hold on tight. That's 0-65 in under 8 secs.
