My PCR 1000 does NOT work well with windows 98 but works well with windows
95. This was confirmed by Icom several months ago. I don't know if they
have made any changes. The scanning feature hangs up with windows 98.
I have both a PCR 1000 and a PCR 100, which I consider to be more "toys"
than serious receivers.
