RE: ICOM PCR100 and PCR1000
I've got one as well, actually a very early one, I use it all the time to do
UO-36, it works great. I use the 56002 EVM and ported the code over to work
on port 2 and support the TAPR RI. I usually get about 97-100% eff from
this combination, just throw an antenna switch and fire up wispdde 3.0 and
you are off to the races, literally :-)

I have a PCR1000 here in my office. It seems to work quite well. The only
down side I can come up with is that the internal speaker is tiny so plan on
using an external speaker, and the control software is a bit of a CPU hog.
