It is with great sadness that I report that on Monday 4 September, 2000, Kevin
Keller, WB9MUP became a Silent Key. He had recently relocated to southern New
Hampshire and was enjoying rural life tremendously when he suffered an
unexpected heart attack.

He was born on 15 Aug 1952 in Greenwood Indiana, and moved to Boston in 1980.
Kevin was a charter member of the Boston Amateur Radio Club. He had been
active, at various times, in ATV, HF, satellites and VHF/UHF radio, and spent
considerable time innovating, teaching and participating in radio-related
activities, especially VHF foxhunting. He was a respected programmer, circuit
designer and mechanical savant, having built parts of the AMSAT Phase 3D
satellite among other accomplishments. He was self-employed programming and
repairing CNC machines, designing, writing and maintaining databases, and more
recently adding web design to his repertoire. He will be sorely missed by all
who knew him.
