Primarily they use microwave frequencies through the Tracking and Data Relay
Satellites that are in high, geosynchronous orbits far above the shuttle.  In
other words, they are talking "up" instead of "down," and the TDRS downlinks
are not readily available to casual listeners.  So no, you can't listen
