Nope.
USB is everywhere. MACs have had it for a while. The IMAC has had USB
since its inception.
I have seen USB on PCs at work since at least last year. I would be
surprised if it has been on PCs for longer than that since USB1.1 seems to
have been an effort of Compaq, Intel, Microsoft and NEC. The current spec
USB2.0 is a colaboration of Compaq, Hewlett-Packard, Intel, Lucent,
Microsoft, NEC and Philips.
USB is where the industry is going. I have USB devices (printer, mouse,
keyboard, USB port) and USB to serial port converters which have been
working fine up to this point.
