Hello Armando.

Don't know any of these ones... (only HF rig I ever owned was an old 101B :)
).

Both are pretty good rigs. I have used a 706IIG, nice box.

This one very much depends on what you want. The Icom has 23cm, so if you want
this band, there's only one rig to choose. The Icom also has much better out
of band rejection on 70cm than the Yaesu, so if you live ina big city, this
may be an issue. The Yaesu has a lot more "bells and whistles" though. The
Icom also (unfortunately) has a design flaw with its battery packs in that the
plastic clip that locks it into the radio tends to break. I have managed to
work around this with a piece of stiff foam and heaps of epoxy resin. :-) There
is also apparently a third party battery pack available in the USA which has
been mechanically redesigned.
I've had mt T81A for a year and am very satisfies, once I sorted out the
battery issue.
Best thing I suggest is try and get a test drive of each rig and see what you
like.

.. ings grow anyway?.
