[amsat-bb] FT-736 problem

Fellow satelliters:

I fired up the FT-736 yesterday for a FO-20/29 pass, switched over to the
SAT position  and saw that there were no frequencies programmed in.

I tried to enter uplink/downlink frequencies but nothing worked.

In SAT mode, the display showed only the orange "SAT" indicator, beneath
that was the "MR" indicator and to the right was the number "1" memory
position indicator.

The normal non-sat memories were all OK so don't think I have a memory
back-up battery problem.

Has anyone experienced similar problems with the FT-736??? I would sure like
to avoid shipping it off for repair.
