My dear friends,
First of all forgive me for my late reply but I had a serious problem with
my server and lost all information about e-mail adresses, messages and so
on. I had several messages from Bob Bruninga WB4APR, a sir from the Navy
School (sorry, I don't remeber the callsign) and much more about schoolar
projects but unfortunatelly I lost everything so I sincerely ask you to send
the comments again.
I would also like to state my greatest THANK YOU to Mr. Bob Bruniga for one
of my favorite hamradio area, the APRS. As a matter of fact we are
developing nowdays our APRS digipeater network here in Portugal and I'm
fighting to get some funds to buy equipment to cover part of the "small"
country! This activity is becoming very popular an people are looking to
enter this marvellous area.
Our project for developing radio interests between the youngsters was
aprooved and we are currently very interested in showing all the new
technology possibilities with practical demonstrations of APRS (connecting
GPS, radios, PC with tracking soft.), ATV, Packet Radio and all area with
are suitable to attract young people.
We are also working on the SimSAT balloon's project I already talked about
which is growing very fast and will be capable of changin the amatereur
history forever in our country ! My congratulations for all the people
involved on it !
Finally and together with our National Amateur Association - REP and others,
we are convincing the the responsibles for education, science, protection,
for the importance of hamradio but there's still a long way to run !!!
We are counting on you all to learn more and more !!!
73 from CT1GUV
