Re: Can Someone PLEASE wake up our US media
Ralph,
I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the mass media to change
the way they cover space (or don't cover it, depending on how you
look at it). Think about it, when was the last time you heard of
any TV station breaking in to cover a shuttle launch, no matter
how important/interesting the mission was? Heck, there was a story
I remember hearing a month or so back where a TV station got
buried by irate phone calls when they broke into the afternoon
soap line-up with a major national news story! Wonder what they'd
have gotten if they'd broken in with something as "unimportant"
as coverage of a space mission?
Just my $0.02..........
Later,
Andy
