True...but only as a "secondary", or "incedental" receivers. Many folks
forget that *all* (legal) ham transmissions are *from* hams, *to* hams.
Others can (and do) listen-in, but that's not who the transmission is
intended for. The FCC waver that allows us to re-broadcast NASA video does
not remove the prohibition that we are forbidden to "broadcast" (ie.
transmit to the general public ... non-hams)
I say this not to criticize the article, but to remind *us* that fast-scan
TV is *still* ham communicaions, and must follow the FCC rules like other
modes.
