I always thought that a fixed station was a station that was situated at
the address that appears on the FCC license.  I was also thinking that
if equipment is taken off the property of the licensee (regardless of
what the equipment happens to be) and sets up said equipment
elsewhere...he no longer fits the fixed station category.  He can be
portable, mobile, maritime mobile, aeronautical mobile, whatever...but
he is no longer a fixed station.

If I'm incorrect, I'm sure someone will correct me.
