[amsat-bb] Longitude

Greetings:

While perhaps a bit off amsat-bb topic, this Sunday evening, 09JUL00, the
Arts & Entertainment channel (A&E)  is running a movie on the quest to
develop a method to accurately and rapidly calculate longitude. Based on the
advertisements, it appears it will be an interesting movie.

Perhaps we still face a variety similar challenges and solutions?
