Re: Kenwood TH-D7A

Who ME? I just ..... read the manual. (Novel idea. Maybe Kenwood doesn't
think anyone does this.)

Section 23 of the TH-D7A Operation Manual, under "Specifications" (page
103) it clearly states the TH-D7A only operates 438-450Mhz
(http://216.98.255.24/Amateur/Instruction%20Manuals/THD7A.pdf) (Yes I've
carefully looked at this with and without my glasses, just to make sure it
wasn't a spec on the screen that turned a "zero" into an "eight".)

KENWOOD! Are you listening out there? You should be compensating Jon and
Alan and others who are helping sell your radios. Please update your
manuals so that people will know the radio is capable of operation in the
"satellite" portion of UHF. Otherwise dummies, like myself, are going off
and buying Alinco's, ADI's, Yeasu's and Icom's because you've told us that
your radios won't do satellite work.

Sorry if I confused anybody. Hey, EVERYBODY listen up. Contrary to what
the manual says, those who own the radio will attest that it will work
430-450MHz.
