Jon,

	Don't worry about looking it up!

ALL
	The HTX-404 Mod
	Turn radio off.  
	Press and hold the function and A keys down while turning the radio back
on.
	It will beep
	release the A  KEY
	While continueing to hole the function key down. enter 9876 on the key
pad.
	You will hear a beep ,

Thats all there is to it . your 404 now covers from 430  to   450 Mhz.
