Hi Hector,
Down East Microwave has a 17 dBic helix they sell for $125. There were
also some good construction articles in the AMSAT Journal in past years.
You might check the archives. In the days of AO-13, mode S many were using
the "Bob Myers bbq" with good success. That was a linearly polarized wire
mesh parabolic dish (surplus TV antenna) for a lot less than $125. I would
hope that P3D will require even less antenna than AO-13, mode S required.
CP probably won't be necessary.
