APRS and packet balloon May 9 southern New Hampshire

This balloon launching from southwest New Hampshire will drift roughly
along the border of New Hampshire and Massachusetts as it moves toward
the coastline not too far from Boston. The coverage could easily
include all of the New England states and beyond at its peak altitude.
Full GPS telemetry will be transmitted, as well as balloon measurement
data. It may also be possible to connect to the launch crew by
packet through the balloon.
We have at HABLIC a CAPSAT coverage map based on expected line of sight
range, as well as all the relevant data and handy links for these upcoming
projects (check the nice CAPSAT webpage for detailed packet procedures).
SkyQuest will be launching two balloons right in eastern Massachusetts
in the next two weeks. Come see us at NWS Taunton Open House Saturday,
May 20!
