18 april 2000
dear fellow hams,
am once again calling cq to all stations in the americas.
shall be operating ao-10 this long weekend.
so far, i have only one contact from the americas, that was on april 2,
2000.
shall be listening for stations in the americas on the following
dates/times:
thurs 20 april 630 z to 730 z
fri 21 april 530 z to 700 z
sat 22 april 450 z to 530 z
sun 23 april 400 z to 420 z
shall work longer if there is much activity and if ao-10 has still enough
juice.
as there is no band plan in the philippines, i shall be receiving a lot of
interference from local fm stations working on the same frequencies.
my best bets would be in the vicinity of 145.890, 145.870, and 145.850
please pass this around to any one who is interested. looking forward to
working you guys.
