Sorry Nathan,
The USA model of the THD7A does not transmit KISS mode. The
European model TH-D7E version 2 does do Kiss mode properly, nut this is
too late for you I am afraid.
It works beautifully in normal cmd:/converse/UI packet mode...
That is how we use it for APRS...
