I have a rather ancient Velo1 running WinCE which I adapted to
portable packet use with the THD7A. The only problem I encountered
was it required a null modem adapter for the serial cables to
make the Tx/Rx serial connections right. Configuring the software
connection was confusing, but it worked after a little experimentation.
