Come to think of it, some of the Linux vendors have been giving away
business-card sized CDROMs that are bootable Linux rescue disks. These media are
also available as writable CDs. You could probably put a *pile* of AX.25
functionality in that much space...sound-card TNC, XASTIR/XAPRS, SatTrack, a
small-footprint web-browser, TCP/IP gateway, etc. etc. etc...
Imagine arrying one in your wallet/purse, along with a digital HT (or analog for
us poor folks) and appropriate cables and your RACES pager.
