Seems line *adjusting* the stake (espically *after* you have pounded it into
the ground) would be fairly hard. How about, pound a stake into the ground
around noon. Mark the tip of the shadow with a stone. Wait 15 min. Mark the
tip of the shadow with another stone. THEN you have your East West line.
