The launch numbers for Ariene 5 do not have to be consecutive. Ariene 4 has
skipped numbers, due to payload scheduling problems in the past -- and the U.S.
Space Shuttle is filled with scattered mission/launch numbers due to the ISS and
wiring inspection delays.
