+great stuff
where might i find keps for jawsat ?
There are several sets going around right now. ASUSAT was figured just before
launch, based on a launch time of 7:13
ASUSAT
1 99999U 00000A 00027.13409120 .00000000 00000+0 00000+0 0 0005
2 99999 100.0000 226.4190 0000010 000.0000 144.8500 14.42576008 00002
http://nasa.asu.edu/asusat/launchcampaign/launchcampaign.html#1/5/00
JAWSAT was actually launched 10 minutes earlier than that, so you'll have
to subtract 10 minutes from its predictions if you use that set.
N7SFI has produced an updated set of KEPS:
WEBER2
1 99997U 00003E 00027.12708333 .00000001 00000-0 00000-0 0 51
2 99997 100.2100 226.4190 0000001 0.0000 180.0000 14.42576000 02
http://www.xmission.com/~kohlwey/keps.txt
And i made my own first attempt at hacking up KEPS because i needed to know
when to leave and where to point before Randy had his made up:
JAWSAT
1 99995U 00000A 00027.12714676 .00000000 00000+0 00000+0 0 0005
2 99995 100.2100 226.4190 0000010 000.0000 144.8500 14.39853888 00001
[homebrew]
So we'll see which one works best until NORAD gives up something definitive.
I'll recommend Randy's KEPS in the absence of better information, because
unlike me, i think he knows what he's doing. I'll see which one actually
predicts AOS better tomorrow morning, as it'll be an overhead pass for me.
73's and good luck!
