Peltier Junctions

Has anyone looked at using Peltier junctions to generte additional
electricity from the temperature gradient from the front to the back of a
solar panel?
I have been seeing these Peltier thermoelectric mudules on sale for years,
but have never seen anyone mention how well they work in reverse, as a
current generator? (instead of a heat-pump)
