Thanks to those SatScan users who told me there are no major Y2K problems
with this (Amsat-UK) tracker, just a few minor ones.

There is, however, another problem in Win-98; the map has gone from the
MapScan function. The satellite, range circle, QTH, and all the text are
there ... but no map. Going into Win-98 DOS and then running the program
brings back the map. This happens with pre-Y2K dates so its not related to

I already tried dropping screen resolution to 640/480 and turning off the
graphics accelerator - no dice. Reports from others indicate this is not
just limited to *my* video card.

I recall that the program tests for VGA/EGA on startup so the system might 
not be recognising its test - the test was there for earlier machines with 
CGA and, if it wasn't EGA/VGA, the system tells you: no map. This current
problem *does not* display that warning message.

Anyone got any suggestions to get the map back when running direct from 
Windoze ?
