Some Brits played around with what they called sat-scat (satellite scatter)
several years ago; they found it was do-able with the larger chunks of
metal. You need slightly less than a moonbounce-class station, and patience.
Mir, being so big, should be ideal but remember to expect about double the
usual amount of doppler (uplink doppler plus downlink doppler) so, on 2m,
this could amount to something like +/- 6 KHz maximum.
