At one point, there was a fourth possible amateur satellite, capable of
J-FM operation, which was nicknamed the "hocky puck satellite" and was
to be launched from OPAL. It is listed as MASAT in the news reports and
also show as a secondary picosat in the OPAL WWW pages. Alas, the link
there is no longer valid from:
http://ssdl.stanford.edu/opal/Subsystems/Picosats/index.html
to:
http://www.jps.net/wa6boy/picosat/index.html
Questions:
Was MASAT ever completed?
Is it being carried by OPAL?
If so, are there current WWW pages for this bird?
Is there a contact person?
