Bob has a lot of other draws on his time.  There is a program on the
Amsat-NA web site, CVITK, which rewrites Y2K keps in such a way that IT is
faked out into getting the date right.  I asked a while back whether the
same would work with QT, but got no answer.  You might give it a try and let
us know.  It may depend on something specific in how IT stores the date, but
it is worth a try.
