1200 Bd PACSATS QSO party

1200 Baud PACSAT QSO party

The big day approaches. Dust off that old 1200 Baud PACSAT TNC and join
us this weekend on all passes of AO-16, LO-19 and IO-26 for live QSO's
via these DIGIPEATERS in space. We will start at noon on Friday. and go
through Sunday evening...

These Birds are virtually unused over the USA and make excellent
digipeaters for UI packets. So if you want an old fashioned LIVE
satellite QSO (keyboard), then tune up... RUn APRS or just a dumb
terminal... enjoy...

For newcommers to these birds, remember that you must have a special
PACSAT TNC, but even if not, hopefully the downlink will be linked
into APRSErve (telenet to 199.227.86.221 port 23)

For details on what we have been doing with these birds, see:

   http://web.usna.navy.mil/~bruninga/traknet.html

We are using the annual running of the Army Navy game football from
ANnapolis to Philly as an excuse to get on the air. YOu can watch our
progress also on the APRN Web page

Good luck!
