Joel -
It sounds like you are going to have to replace a few components in your
Astron power supply. To repair your Astron, remove your modifications, then
troubleshoot.
You indicate that you purchased a "lighted" 12 V 30 A switch. Not knowing
what you bought --- my experience has always taught me to test lighted power
switches with a VOM or VTTM before using / installing. Let's say that I
have found a few mfg of these switches that did not function as advertised.
