CCN is carrying an distressing report at URL
http://cnn.com/TECH/space/9910/28/launch.ban/index.html
The report indicates that the Russians suffered another loss
of a Proton launcher on Wednesday and that the Kazakhs have
again forces a suspension of all launches from their Baikonur
launch facility.
This is of concern to us because the Russians were to have
launched their Zvezda module for the ISS about 2 months hence
on a similar Proton.
Zvezda is the initial location for the ARISS amateur hardware
that Frank and Will discussed in San Diego, including the bulkhead
connector that allows the ISS payload to have a decent "outdoor"
antenna.
